2002 C180 Sportscoupe Engine Management Light

Hi all,

Bought this car in Sept 07, engine management light has come on 5 times since. Main dealer replaced lambda probe each time. Its now out of warranty. Anyone have any idea what is causing this fault as they don't seem to have a clue.

Possibly a misfire or intake air leak causing the light to come on.

Speak to Mercedes customer care and tell them you are dissatisfied with the repairs so far and it's still not fixed.

If they've tried to repair it five times and failed, I'd pursue with trading standards if they play sills sods.
