Hi everyone, firstly this is my first post so I apologise in advance if my questions are stupid!

So, i have this new (to me) 2006 B180 CDI SE and it has a COMAND NTG2 unit in it. It seems that I can't put in an audio CD whilst the SATNAV DVD is in the head unit, is that right? Seems a bit silly to me! It doesn't have a multi-changer or AUX port that i can find (i've looked in the glove box near the air vent but it's not there). So, would anyone be able to recommend a good iPod connection system for it? I've seen some instructions online and think i'll leave it to a pro. So, any ideas on costs for that?

I also got a bit stung on the bluetooth 'feature' of the NTG2 in that apparently it only connects to BT headsets. Is that right? I was told by the salesman it would connect to my phone for that i've learnt that i need a bluetooth phone tray widget. d'oh! I have tried connecting it to an old Nokia and my new Lumia 800 with no luck so i'm thinking it will only connect to headsets.

Here's another: is it simple to adjust the handbrake so it's not so high to engage it? Is it under the car like on many others or inside the centre console somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Dave

Yes you cant listen to a cd whilst using the navigation as the nav dvd needs to be in the drive. You will need to install the glovebox cd changer to do that.

You unit supports aux inout so you can add one. Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes SatNav/COMAND :: COMAND Retrofit parts :: Current W169 A, W245 B, Sprinter, Vito, Viano :: Aux input for cars with Audio-20 or COMAND NTG2 version Instalaltion guide - Aux input retrofit on A,B,C,CLK,ML,GL,R

Other options are the mCar interface (also gives you bluetotoh phone) or NTG2 Ipod kit: Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes iPod solutions :: A & B Class (W169/W245)

Bluetooth in the NTG2 wont pair directly with a phone, you need phone pre-wire and a bluetooth cradle. As you dont have the connection in the drawer you will need to install a kit like mCar or Fiscon Pro. Comand Online Ltd :: Mercedes Phone/Bluetooth :: Phone System Retrofit Kits
