2007 CL63 AMG With 1412 Miles Damaged !

so has this been tested and found to be driveable and safe?
I doubt it.
I guess you are saying it has been recorded as a write off, and not recorded as safe and driveable.

i think it will be bought and vin numbers changed over onto the nicked one?????

When a car is written off, it should go away and be tested after the repair to show that it has been correctly repaired.
The the paper work is amended and this recorded. If the car has not been tested then HPI will tell you

If the damage on the car is not structural and does not affect the driving or safety, then it does not have to be recorded

You have to get them vic tested (only cat C) just to get another log book...

for the insurance company to write it off, it must be recorded or that will be illegal.
Now if there is a waiting list, the company would have paid out money as they can not get another model so i really do not know what this unrecorded business is all about

Lots of salvage ends up as being unrecorded, hire cars for example.

One thing to remember when buying salvage is that cars can get put on the register *after* you've brought them.
