My facelift CLS has a partially failed door mirror LED and a failed MOT, new cover is on order.
Has anyone experience of removing mirror casing to replace LED, there are several u tube clips for other models but none for this, it is a different arrangement from any of the others.
Will be grateful for any help

Job done and working after advice from service guys at MB dealer, point mirror downwards and get your fingers behind the glass and pull smartly, gladly it's only clipped into the motor behind.
Unhook the heater cables and store safely, new glass costs between 2 and 3 hundred pounds, remove three torx screws holding the motor to the folding frame, four more hold the frame to the mirror body.
Now pull the body sharply and it slides off the frame after disconnecting all the cables.
reassembly is the opposite of above as they say.
Mirror body in correct colour costs £100 or so, the LED within it is not available separately, I would have thought it ought not to cost much more than £25.
Anyway job's done and now have an MOT
