Afternoon all, looking for some help, our car has started showing oil spray on the bonnet lining (silver heat shield).
I think it’s coming from this hose, as it’s pretty loose and comes out easily, is it meant to? Or should it be pretty hard to pull out?

It pulls out easily, it’s the crankcase vent tube that connects to the air intake (batwing) that sits on the front of the turbo .
They are worth replacing if it’s the original as they age and let too much oil through into the turbo

It also looks like the orange seal on the front of the turbo is incorrectly fitted or breaking up , . Those small holes on the front of the batwing by the turbo should have orange lugs sticking out of them .
You can also see the pcv tube pulled out of where it meets the batwing

Thanks for the help, very informative.
