2012 C350 Sport Petrol Saloon

Looks great, thanks for the pictures. Must be a bit sweltering in the back :-), I have mine permanently on 'LO' and SWMBO, toddler and baby can just wear coats if they don't like it :bannana:

Having had an awful 2010 C350CDI (first and last diesel for me!), I couldn't wait to get rid of it. I replaced it with a Cavansite blue 2012 C350 Sport petrol and love it. It has got heated & air conditioned seats, glass sunroof, Harman Kardon 450W Hi-Fi, electric memory seats, COMAND, front & rear claimate control, 18" AMG alloys, storage pack etc etc

The engine sounds awesome when revved (unlike that awful 6 cyl diesel which made terrible unrefined induction noises and a "pinking" like sound too - impossible I know but it did! Plus the DPF kep sending the wretched thing into limp home mode!).

Enjoy it Steve - I know you will if the two years I've had mine is anything to go by. Sounds like you have the same spec as mine other than colours. I'd been wondering if I was the only person to have specified comfort ventilated seats in a Sport model, but clearly not. It does mean we can't have sports seats, but the ones we do have are magnificently comfortable.

You didn't mention the Dynamic Handling Pack - do you have it too? It adds yet another dimension to a fantastic car - it's not too firm but it makes everything even better (just don't have any displays showing fuel consumption!). Despite that Sport button, which admittedly I don't use a great deal because there are few traffic-free roads where it comes into its own, I'm averaging about 32mpg overall - not too shabby for an enthusiastically driven saloon with over 300 horses to play with! On a longish run "pushing speed limits" it's returning up to 38mpg. But with all that power available over such a wide rev range and the music from those two exhausts, who cares about mpg? :D

Hi - yes mine has the handling pack plus active headlights. I get 35mpg on a run which is only 3mpg less than the awful diesel. Why don't more people buy big petrols!!??

The Cavansite blue paint looks gorgeaous in the sun!

I actually bought it in October 2012...

Yes, those active headlights are great aren't they. I love the way they dance around for a couple of seconds when you first start the car!

I don't believe the Cavansite blue looks gorgeous ;)

As posted elsewhere, in my case because dumb MB decided to drop the dynamic handling pack from the Coupe, and then replace it with the AMG handling pack (which is excellent) but only on the C250. The gorgeous C350, with another 100bhp, has to do without, otherwise I would have one!
