2013 C class wing Mirror glass

Hi All,

newly registered to the site but I've viewed it a lot before buying my new c250 sport and found it really good source of information.
I'll introduce myself properly in the relevant section in a bit.

Onto my problem, I tried reversing into my garage this morning and cllipped the wing nearside wing mirror I'm gutted!
the only damage is to the glass, anyone know if I'm just to replace that part and if so how much is it going to cost?

You can just replace the mirror glass.

Does your mirror glass include the auto dimming feature? If so, you will probably be looking at £300+ for just the glass from Mercedes.

Otherwise you can just pick up a normal heated mirror glass from eBay for less than £30 I think.

I think it has ( or had!) the auto dimming, anyway to tell now? if its really £300 for the glass I won't be bothering with the dimming

At a guess, take the mirror glass off and look at the amount of wires connected to the mirror glass.

Usually 2x for the heated feature and 2x for the auto dimming.

If you only have 2x then it will be much cheaper.
