2014 Rebellion Breakfast run and a DYNO Day

I am very happy with 534 who wouldn't be, its always been the torque that makes me giggle:D, but need to see the graphs, would much rather have the neck snapping figures rather than ultimate BHP figures.

Hate to keep banging on about the graphs, but is there a reason we didn't get them, because it's a bit frustrating waiting as I need to ping mine over to Jerry from EC!

I think Matt is going to scan them and then incorporate into the video, if its really urgent am sure SRR can send you the files directly on Monday.

So how many cars ran on the day and what were the results of all the cars???

To be honest it would have been nice if we had been given a copy! After all, we did pay for it!

Thanks to Matt and Phil for organising this. Great to meet up with some members on here and have a chat. Nice cafe for breakfest to start the day. as well.

Not a great result for me :-( I think mine was the least powerful car of the day at 475bhp. But hopefully looking at the graphs it would appear my car was holding back at higher revs (there was noteicable dip!) which I am hoping is heat related. My cars in for a service on friday so fingers crossed it will restore it to its former glory.

I had thought my car was feeling slower but put it down to me getting used to the car. Perhaps not!

Matt or Phil @ Rebellion................can you please, please send me my Dyno Graphs !!!

Neil,

Have you tried emailing them from their contact us on their website. They might not login to the forum regularly.

Hi, yes Ive contacted them direct. Looks like they are scanning info now (Thanks for the info Marriedblond - I dont think my PM is working!!)

Very enjoyable day and good to meet various people.

Just for reference my C63 (non-PP but remapped) got 502 bhp, I'm happy with that.

I received a print out of the dyno graph on the day and wasn't aware that they weren't handing them out to others as well.

Roll on Wednesday for a service and Quaife LSD being fitted.

Just a thought: Did we not discuss some time back on the fuel situation with you using supermarket stuff and I said wait until you get on the dyno? are you still using said supermarkets finest or did you switch to VPower? as this might explain why yours has the lower power.

After the many discussions on here I made the effort to use only v power that's all that's been in my car since towards the end of last year.

My car is running hot and the oil level was low (I didn't check until I got home - school boy error) so I am hoping a fresh set of clean filters and some new oil will drop the temperature and let the car breath easier.

Well my graphs went over to Jerry this afternoon! Even though they are moving to a new premises he looked over my graphs, and within an hour a new map arrived! Just loaded it on and it's transformed the car! I won't say that it would ultimately have higher bhp but the power delivery is far more aggressive! When I asked him what he had done, he simply said I've ironed out some issues with timing and fuelling maps and it's my latest greatest tune, lol! When Charlie moves to Farnborough ill get it back on the rollers to see what it's does! I think the torque will increase but ultimate power probably not much greater! I can only imagine what you C63 and '55k owners experience!!!

Thats great news and as you say its about the delivery (but I am sure it has helped the power too)

Enjoy.

Feedback to the tuners always helps aswell! It's good for Eurocharged to understand our fuels, and needs! I suspect raw bhp is what the Americans prefer! But us Brits also like torque too thanks to our rather more interesting roads and countryside we like to have mid range! That way they can amend files to suit the need.

Thanks to Matt and Phil aswell for getting my graphs to me today as I plotted the original dyno tune onto Saturdays plot ( yeah too much time on my hands) so Jerry had easy info to refer too!

I would stick some Cataclean Cataclean Cataclean Fuel Additive For Petrol & Diesel 475ml at the same time, and give it a good clear out on the way home.:thumb: are your spark plugs due for a change? if so might be worth doing at the same time, anyway good luck

Thanks Billy. It's done 11K miles so I am guessing the service is oil and filters? Jesus I should pay more attention. But I will follow your advice and give it a go. I could probably do a tank on in one short hit if I drive with enthusiasm!!!

Great day out, good breakfast with Peter and his immaculate CL55. Thanks to Matt for organising it and to SRR. Was good to put some more new faces to names :thumb:

I was about 30bhp down on the day, should of changed my knackered Gearbox before the day

Good to see you got it working on the dyno.
