2015 gla250 Becker map pilot removal

I want a buy a new map for my Becker map pilot nav but there doesn’t seem to be a key in it (bought the car preowned) I tried a regular knife and butter knife and neither worked. Anyone have any advice or trick to get this thing out?

Do you have the SatNav box in the glove compartment?

Yes I do, it’s the exact one that guy in the video has, but you need a key which isn’t in there

It may have broken off at some point? In any case I had the BMP in my W204 and it came out just as shown in the video. You may need to take the car to a garage...

It seems to lift catches at the sides of the slot so perhaps a credit card or 2 to fit the full slot width would do it?

Or ask another Merc owner if you can borrow theirs. Most C class 2011 - 2015 have the becker
