Looking for prices.
What would be a ball park cost for the cam chain, guides and the tensioners ? Not cheap, and not super expensive.
What labour time in hours from a MB Indie? to complete ?
I understand it is not just the chain, guides and tensioners, but to do a full 100% job, there are several gears that should also be considered for inspection.
These gears at the bottom, is where the engine has to be removed I guess?
I remember watching Edd China do a cam chain replacement, where he used a split link (con link) to join the new chain to the old chain, and by maintaining strict tension on the new chain, his assistant gently wound the crank over by the crank bolt and a long ratchet bar.
So, for now, any one care to offer prices ?
