Thanks, I just had a chat with them on the phone. They seem very genuine, the guy suggested starting with just a pair of front door speakers and see what if that's enough.

They know their stuff down there and they know MB's. No rattles on mine 2,000 miles in after fitting Android unit and sub 2,000 miles ago

They sure know their stuff, they installed focal speakers on mine, and also the widescreen digital cockpit.

Speaker upgrade every time for me. I’m sure you will be amazed at the difference. When they take out the main driver just compare it physically to the Morel unit and you will see where your money is going even before your ears do!

Anyone have an opinion on Audiotec Fischer MATCH audio equipment?

I called the vendor (who also sells Focal) and they said Focal and Morel are better but not by as much as the price difference suggests (over twice the price). Plus he thought if I'm just keeping the stock amp there may not be that much benefit to the better ones over the Match ones.

Also, does anyone know how to remove the rear panel speaker covers in a C238, like in the picture. For the minute I'd like to see what's underneath.

One side of it is loose which suggests two things, 1) it should pop off given a tug, and 2) it's easy to naff it up and break the lugs if you aren't absolutely sure what you're doing..

The fact that this is the best picture I could find is an indication of why I can't just find the answer on google : /
