20p coins fetching good money on Ebay

Boo Hoo!

I've just gone through my loose change jar, nothing :(

If the numbers are small enough, like the 1937 halfpenny that was minted for the abdicated king, then these will become very very valuable indeed.

oh man i had one of those 20p in my hand the other day at work before i put it in the confectionary machine, i noticed the no date but didnt think much of it D'oh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm opening up my money bank when I get home!! I'm sure I've got a new 20p in there, don't know if it had a date though.

i used to collect the £5 coins and had about 8 of them

on my desk ive actually been collecting 2 types of coins, new ones and ive got the 1p, 10p & £1 also been collecting the £1 coins as there are about 18 different styles of them

Sold £113:eek:

Just looked at the loose change in my pocket, none of it has a date.. Its all to small for my eye sight!

Resurrecting an old thread since this story has been all over the news the past few days.
Seems every man and his dog is now selling 20p coins on e-bay
I can't believe people would actually pay £7.50 for three very ordinary and well used 20 pence pieces
