You will experience tramlining if your steering geometry isnt perfectly setup with either 215's or 225's.

225/45/17 are approx.67cm
i suspect of having some rubbing when compression is compressed

225/45/17's will not be 67cm ..

I have those on the front of my CLK and the diameter is about 60cm.

The point of bigger wheels is that you drop the tyre profile which keeps the diameter roughly the same.

sorry i mistaken.225/45/17 is not 67cm but is 63 something.so it will fit perfectly!!!
