230K hits 250K

I'd be interested in whether it has had a timing chain yet, but I'm sure the rest is original.
Dr Nicks E300 had 455K miles on when he sold it, the engine had never been apart.

I don't think it ever had anything changed on the block (apart from glowplugs). Thats not saying it wouldn't have benefitted from it- I think things were starting to get a bit worn all over. If I'd kept in any longer I would have had the chain done and probably had the injectors reconditioned. It had had a new turbo and a new rad before I got it. but to be honest it was amazing (apart from the rust!). Even that MB-Tex material looked immaculate!
Got a lower (50k) mileage E280, fully stamped 2000 facelift model now as I'm doing less miles! (Rust free as far as I can tell)
