hi all, got the PTG supercharger installed on my C63 with the Fi Interchiller and gained more than 250WHP on 95RON fuel with octane booster….
What's the max power stock P31 motor and trans handle ?
I’m running the stock pulley but can upgrade to a smaller pulley and see 30-40 whp gains… should I do it ? Will it be safe ?
Want to get my car to low 10sec 1/4 mile….

The car was on same dyno and same fuel… They couldn’t hit the rev limiter bcz the car was moving too much on the dyno, so if they had touch 7k it would be 680WHP…
I would say the chiller is a must on SC cars, keeps the temps cool and eliminates ice top ups….. more air the AC condenser got cooler the water temps became…

At this level the clutch discs in the transmission will not last very long. They won’t slip immediately, but they will not last

It's not the horsepower that kills transmissions...its the torque and all boxes will have max quoted limit... often it's in the model number. Like my Alfa box is called an F40 because it can handle 400nn....the lesser version uses the M32 box with a 320nm limit. No trannys or boxes I've seen quote a max horsepower rating as horsepower is just the rate at which torque is made. Im sure that typing you gearbox model number in the Googlathon will soon reveal its max torque handling capacity.

So you telling me it’s gonna go off without a warning ?
It’s more likely that the transmission will be fine initially but the much greater torque output of the engine will accelerate wear of the clutch discs in the automatic transmission. You’ll know when this is happening because the clutches will begin to slip, and will progressively get worse over time. The harder you drive the car, the faster the clutch discs will wear. The slip will be your warning.

With drag radials and maybe little bit of weight saving ? Seen many SC63 in 10’s on forum
Low 10s was quoted.
The difference from 10.999 to low 10s is massive. A bit more than remove the spare wheel and interior.
There’s getting into the 10s, then going half a second faster.

9’s are possible with drag wheel/tyres on 1/4 mile and the correct setup. Full list of times below.

Your in the USA so take it straight to shr to stop worrying about the trans. Me personally id run uprated piston and rods too if i was supercharged but i think it’s too much power for here in the UK with a few people regretting it after they have done it.

Hi,
I have ordered 315/35/17 MT drag radials… I’m from India 🇮🇳 not USA 😆…. Mine is a PP car so it should handle this much power without any problems… I have read people run 700WHP with stock motor and trans without any problems for a long time…
