270CDI cooland flush

Hi All,

Is a coolant flush a simple operation?

From what I can see:

Undo valve at bottom of radiator - allow coolant o escape,
Undo rad cap and expansion tank cap
flush system with cleaner (fill radiator and run engine)
undo valve at bottom of rad
refill system via rad cap

Is it that easy or am I being silly?

Don't forget to turn the heater to hot and drain the engine block as well.

Any quick methodology for the whole shebang?

If l remember correctly the engine block drain plug was a real pain to get at.
