Hi all. Thinking about buying second set of wheels for my C200K. The wheels i am looking at are momo FXL-ONE (ET 35) 18" x 8's as with my current Kleemann setup. My idea is to achieve a black 'stealth' look to my car, and i think these wheels would help achieve that. I would sell my spare set of 18" AMG III's to pay for the new wheels and tyres. Would welcome opinions and views. Thanks. Click on wheel to enlarge.

Problem with these 'skeleton' look wheels is that they may look OK on a photo (like yours) or off the car but as soon as you put them on the car, all the disc, calipers, etc become obvious through the gaps in the wheels and lose the original aesthetic! Have seen many nice new Mercs with these 'silly' wheels which make an otherwise pleasing car a rather unpleasant sight!

Thanks. Some of us have spent time and money on our discs and calipers so why would we want to hide them behind a wheel. The objective would be to allow (with this wheel anyway) the discs and calipers to be seen improving the overall look (for modders anyway) rather than loosing the original aesthetics.

If they are not hubcentric you will never balance them

Thanks. Been assured that centres will be correctly drilled to fit MB (my car) and balanced. Acknowledge that this is not an MB wheel but neither were my Kleemanns and i have never had trouble with them.

Don't really like them at all.

Personal opinion though, so if you like them - go for it.

Cheers Bri

Not a fan myself, a little to 'pimp my ride' for my tastes :(

I thought I had seen those wheels somewhere before.... And I have!

Heres a cheaper version on eBay:

As for the look, I think it will go but not too keen on the appearance it would give.

Thanks. Not the same wheel a very close replica of momo. Guess they all try to copy manufacturers wheels. Mine are 18 x 8 's all round. As i would guess you would get what you pay for with the - pimp my wheels model.
