as a new member i will say hi to everyone
anyway i have just got a w124 300e 4 speed auto 1992
now it seems to pull away in second gear unless you floor it then it drops down into 1st then goes back up through the box as it should ( i have a 95 w124 e220 for my main car )
i got this cheap as i want the alloys off of her
the throttle cable had a lot of slack which i have adjusted up
and it has made the pullaway better but not quite right as yet
could it be the rod underneath the box which maybe to loose or tight ??
I will probably break her as the inner wing is shot as are the front wings
engine is sweet as a nut with 180k with full service history
