3g iphone unlimited data....

Is apparently unlimited...can anyone confirm this, or have any experience of O2’s unlimited tariffs ?

We only need 2 Iphone’s, and could put them on either personal or small business – but BOTH seem not to allow commercial usage of the unlimited data (and only 18.24, or 36 month contracts)

I’ve been reading through section 4 of the terms and conditions (http://www.o2.co.uk/termsconditions/iphone) – does this mean I cannot use the unlimited data to connect to my company email, as this is commercial usage ?

We would need them to connect to our Exchange server, via MS direct Push, hence the concern about the data charges.....

what about encrypted traffic? How one can say that you are using it for commercial purposes?

https:// is encrypted. IMAP and gmail can be encrypted.
If there will be 3rd party app to do VPNs ors SSH tunels you are at home

btw. it would be quite interesting project to setup VPN/SSH tunel on iPhone
I've never played with iPhine for longer than 2 min (not interested) so I don't really know
