3rd Brake Light Warning W211

Hi can anyone steer me in the right direction 3rd brake light warning was displayed in the instrument panel found out it refers to the led strip in the boot went to test it and found the electronic release via the key fob refuses to work the led strip was working intermittently until the warning left and right number plate light not working, looked at the bulbs and associated fuses all ok boot opens with the key fortunately before I buy a new led brake light could anyone suggest a linked wiring fault or solenoid failure. Anyone had a similar problem any help gratefully appreciated thanks Steve

I’m having a similar problem but..... I’ve just lost power to the 3rd brake light, everything else works.... light works when wire direct to the battery but not when connected to the loom in the boot no yet everything else is fine ‍..... hope you get yours sorted mate !
