You've probably got the later E500 Jay, like the one we had, the brakes are much bigger and i'm sure the discs are also larger.

Jay's 500E has the stock discs/brakes. Agree with Jay, those calipers don't look like 500e fronts !

Ideal combo discs/calipers are the r129 SL600 versions, bigger by some margin than the stock 500e500, as fitted on my black 500e.

I had much bigger front calipers on my E500 from stock, however bought the car second hand so they might have been added on after.

I`ve just noticed this *** All our calipers are REMANUFACTURED, they are as new fitted with new seals, pistons and or/other components that are necessary. All calipers are pressure tested before they leave the factory to ensure our high standards of quality are maintained ***

Yes pretty much all brake calipers you buy from aftermarket suppliers are reconditioned. And they insist on your old ones so they can recondition those.
