I've started getting an evil missfire under acceleration in the SEC - lumpy, feel vibration through the seat, lack of power. Idle seems less smooth as well. Revs smoothly in neutral. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it may be?

Dizzy, rotor arm. These must be checked first. If they have any corrosion inside them they should be replaced. They are not cheap!!. Check the resistance through the leads and compare them with each other. Check the plugs too.

Hope this helps

Check the following first:

Ignition leads
Spark plugs
Distributor cap

If its none of the above then look at:

Vacuum leaks
Fuel distributor (very common)
Fuel injectors
EZL- ignition control module
CIS KE relay

I had a miss on my 560, took forever to diagnose! Turned out to be the CIS KE relay in the footwell.

Hopefully its probably something simple.

Thanks very much for the advice guys, much appreciated.
