57 plate c320 cdi sat nav upgrade

Hi all is it possible to upgrade the satnav software on my 320cdi? It's a 57 plate?

You can update the maps. They contain new mapping software as-well as new map data. But it won't change the way your satnav works.

You can update the satnav to the late 2008 (model year 2009) version with inbuilt hard-disk, bluetooth phone, birdseye view satnav mode, and 7 digit postcode. - but that requires changing the satnav unit itself.

Doing what ? Updating the map, yes thats good - you'll have more accurate satnav. Updating the firmware, well thats done by updating the map so you don't need to do anything there.

If you want the features from a mid 2008 satnav system then you have to change the whole COMAND unit. They systems are *completely* different . Like the 1st Tom Tom vs a brand new Tom Tom.
