550 is now not enough. I have 600 under my foot and it just amazes me how much power we have access to these days. Proper old school supercars get by with only 478. And here I am in a 4 door living room with nearly as much as an slr. Where will it stop?

Just short of the petrol station?? :dk:

Not that I'm at all envious

Enjoy :thumb:

Big BHP tuning has been around for a while, especially in the realms of muscle cars, Skylines, Supras, et al. Silly BHP has traditionally cost silly GBP though.

I think what's change in recent times is that it's now available in cars that aren't a pig to drive and maintain, at relatively sensible prices..

I think it will be a while before we see 700bhp regularly in cars that are otherwise "normal". The likes of the 65 AMGs - and even 55 AMGs - can do it, but it's not good for their internals and transmission without series modification.
