Was a bit shocked I noticed the outside temp guage drop from -6 to -9 as I approched J17 (@ 7:40am) - caused me to drop my speed by 5mph and start thinking about how well distributed the salt was!

Anyone southerners got double figures yet?

Hardly any ice here on salted rd's and the temp is 0-1deg

It's started raining here and the snow is disappearing quite quickly.

I guess it's warming up a bit.

don't see much warming in mid wiltshire still below freezing, i've been trying to plant a cider orchard but I think i'll hang fire until the weather warms the ground is like concrete.

Weather looks set to warm up over the next few days so much for a White Christmas.

Where is "here"

-7 in West Wiltshire!

Became foggy in the night and now the trees and bushes are wearing a pretty coat of frost :D

Just went out onto the ice rink that's called my drive and took a look at my temp guage.. -5c. And, not one road in my part of town has been gritted! Great eh! :(

Looking forward to driving on snow ploughed roads with winter tyres in a couple of days! :))

-7 on the approach to deepest Harlow this morning, but then it warmed to -6 as I arrived at the office :)

My W220 is jacknifed on the ice rink that is my drive, blocking the SLK in.

We live at th bottom of an icy hill

We have no turkey or anything else remotely festive in the house.

I've not yet bought the missus any presents.

I've got a cold coming on.

Farking Christmas!

I'm the same, no shopping done as my road's not been passable (by my car) since last Friday, in Hemel Hempstead.

Supposed to be leaving for the Midlands tomorrow.

-3 currently, trouble is my road (hill) hasn't seen any salt and only gets the sun for about an hour a day currently because of houses each side.

-7 outside our house in Bracknell this morning.

-8 to -9 in Princes Risborough on the way to work this morning. Roads north of Thame largely clear, but twixt Risborough & West Wycombe things are a bit shambolic.
