96, W202 C180, Reverse gear slipping, in auto trans.

Hi, i would like to ask what could be the problem with my C180 gearbox, the problem is that the reverse gear feels like a slipping clutch in a manual transmission, engine revs up but car will move very slowly and little power, cant even climb a very little slope.

I have changed transmission fluid, OEM, transmission filters, but still the same. Also it happened one time that the forward gears also slipped, but only that time, now its like these in reverse.

Can it be the "discs" in the gearbox? Someone told me about this....

Slipping (Or slow engagement) in Reverse

Is usually/can be the harbinger to a Tranny Reman.

In the 722 transmission in reverse gear brake band B3 is engaged, a one-way converter clutch is locked, clutch K2 is engaged, and both planetary gear sets are used. So the answer is yes. http://www.w124performance.com/docs/mb/other/tranny_722_Mitchell.pdf

mine does that if you try to give it gas too quick (automatic) wait a sec and let it get in gear!
