I have used a VW stereo adapter and wired up all the lines accordingly to the new headunit i bought to install in the car (sony) I had to swap the iginition power and constant power, but everything else lined up fine.

I powered it on to test it wont give sound, I relized it might need to have the amp turn on

WHAT do I need to do to power the amp to allow the sound to work?

I have one connector left it says "1C" on it and has AMP, I belive this is the amp plug as it was on the top row of the original headunit

Which wires on that connector need to be connected to what?

Please help me out, its been a pain...

It has the following wires

black
orange
yellow
white
clear
3x brown
blue

THANKS

There isn't a seperate amp unless the upgraded Bose system is installed. The connector C isn't necessary, that's for CD changer control.

Connector B are the speaker cables.
1= RR+
2= RR-
3= FR+
4= FR-
5= FL+
6= FL-
7= RL+
8= RL-

AMP is the maker of the connector block.

Ill go check that out right now, thanks

if this doesnt work? what are my options?

thanks again

I have had it wired properly but it still wont produce any sound, all the wires are connected properly for the audio and power lines... any help would be great

I still think the top plug must be wired or im missing somethin. I have installed many stereos but this is a hole different beast
