Hello all.
My passenger door mirror assembly was knocked back and the lower bearing support for the geared shaft of the folding mechanism broke. I've got the part and want to glue back. Having trawled the 'net, I can't find any information to remove the painted mirror top cover. It seems the part is prised from the indicator strip, so any help would be appreciated as I don't want to break anything.
I suspect I'll have to remove the whole assembly to work on the repair.
My mirror is shown attached.

Thank you.

These should do it:

BTW, I'm officially jealous - facelift mirrors and folding ones too :thumb:

That will be my next mod ... after fixing the OS door, damaged by the hurricane wind last Saturday, and getting the wheels refurbished ...

Thanks GLK, the sheet clearly shows where the clips are and I'm sure I would have broken one. Would it be too much to ask for the sheet to remove the glass mirror (AR88.70-P9060AK). I should be able to investigate next week when I'm not running the grand kids around.
Good luck with your project.

Here you go - two files (adjustment drive and glass itself) in pdf format:

Please note, WeTransfer only keeps files for 7 days

Thanks, I've downloaded the files and I'll see how I get on next week.
