A-class command

Hi

Is it possible to easily fit command into an '03 A-class?

Dad's has APS 30 sat nav at the moment but if command is possible at reasonable cost then I may look at putting the APS into the S-class and fitting the A-class with command.

I believe it can be done, there is space for a double din unit, I was very tempted to do it when we had our A Class. I recall seeing some posts on another forum of a guy in Germany that had done it. I think the issue you will have is that you may need to fabricate a plastic fascia surround as IIRC the CD/tape storage or sunglass holder has a frame that fits around the stereo itself.

As for the COMAND unit I think you would need the non-CANBUS version as from the W163.

It can be done and you need an A163 820 36 89 comand unit.
