A Class (W169) Rear Mudflaps

Anyone have any idea if it is a DIY proposition to fit rear mudflaps to an A Class?
Is there any drilling required, or do they use existing fittings?

Anyone help

I fitted flaps to our B. The biggest hassle, is that the wheel needs to come off, but thats not too bad!

I picked up a set from my dealer this weekend and indeed the wheels do need to be removed.
Hopefully I will get a chance to fit them soon.

I think the screws are self tappers that go into the wheel arch, plus you need to clean up the paintwork for some adhesive strips.
It's a simple but satisfying job, especially as the dealer we bought our brand new B from wanted to charge approx £150 to fit on top of the price of the flaps

I have asked the dealer for a "fitting" quote...........although will not pay £150

So far, I am very pleased with the car........approx 1500 miles covered in first month ..........a pleasure to drive!

Update: The supplying dealer has agreed to fit my rear mudflaps "free of charge"..........as a goodwill gesture............Thank You MB

Yes (Peterborough)............A goodwill gesture to appease my complaints about customer service following some administrative foul ups during the initial purchase and registration process...............I feel that it was a "one off" as an attempt to restore my "Customer Satisfaction" rating.
But I am extreemly grateful to them for the gesture.

Update

Rear flaps are now fitted, just in time for some of the heaviest of summer rainfall............The rear mudflaps really do make a difference.

The garage also washed and valetted the car
