Hi all.. i found a small plug in the glovebox that takes a jack plug.. i am presuming this is for ipod etc. I tried an ipod in it, put the audio on aux and no sound came out.. any ideas.. also my keyless entry only works on the back doors not the front.. any ideas??

You are correct that is for the ipod. All you will get out of it is sound. Do you get sound.

Best thing for the keyless is to get it on a star machine and get the fault codes and actual values checked. Can you start the car from the selector module button.

These car do suffer with the handles failing.

My MB iPod connector seems to be a dedicated lead with actual iPod plug on it so not sure yours is same thing. My iPod works on aux.

As for keyless entry it obviously should work on all doors. My drivers door has just packed up though which is a pain and I have been told the fix is a new handle which I think is £250 plus! So I will just have to put up with pressing the fob! Amazing what a pain it is after never having to think about it. So my guess is that maybe both of yours are faulty but would be interested if others have any ideas.
