Hi, does anyone out there know the meaning of this light? My car was running rough for the first few minutes this morning, then the light came on and it seemed to loose a bit of power. I was only a wee way from home so took it home and caught public transport to work. Haven't had a chance to read the manual yet and am wondering...

Thanks
Jo.

BAS/ESP light is to do with the traction system.

Is this the only two lights that came on you didnt have any management lights coming on. Have you retried the car to see if thelights have gone out.

To find the cause of these lights it will need to go on a star machine

Just the two lights

Thanks for the reply. No, it was just the two lights and when I turned the engine on again to drive the short way home, they didn't reappear. maybe it was just a glitch?

It could well be the brake light switch is on its way out.

Daft as it sounds, get the tracking checked- I had the same on a 2000 A140 & that was the cause.
