A140 Starter Motor

Anyone know eher I can get a good reconed Stater Motor for a 2001 A140?

I have been hit with some crazy quotes for replacements....


Also does the engin need to be dropped to do the swap? As this means I have to fork out 7 hours labour as well!!1

Not sure about having to lower the engine but any decent rotating parts reconditioner should be able to recondition the existing motor for about £80.

what's wrong with it?
