A160 2001- Battery problems

Tried to start car the other day - battery flat.

Called AA who came out and got it started. They checked it all and said, battery fine, and its charging well. So I assumed I'd left the lights on or something.

Today, flat again. Definitely not left anything on this time.

So, is it:-

1. Faulty battery after all.
2. Something draining the battery somehow.

Did they check alternator?

Did you take it or a long run after they got it going?

Worst case may be an ecu fault, but more experienced member may know better (I had an old c class that did the same, and was ecu trouble)

It could be the alarm siren or the car battery is past its best.
Test the alarm by intentionally triggering it. leave a window open, lock it, then open a door after about 1 minute. Hazards should flash and siren should scream.

Battery replaced under warranty although parts place weren't over keen. No trouble at all now with new battery.
