Hi, I have a query regarding the tyres on my A180 as the fronts are different size to the rear??

Front: 225/45R18 95W
Rear: 225/40R18 82W XL

Why are they different sizes?
Are the correct ones on the front & rear or should they be swapped?

I am also getting some slight vibration at approx. 70mph & above. Nothing noticeable below this speed. What could this be? Was maybe thinking wheel balancing?

Thanks

Thats odd , the fronts have a ratio 5% higher than the rears . Different widths front and rear is quite common these days , but sidewall height ??.

What does it say in your handbook or sticker in the fuel cap lid ?

Being the same width they should be the same sidewall height. Also, the load index should be the same. It seems that someone fitted the wrong tyre at some point.

What brand of tyre are they front and rear?
