A45 steering wheel change

Hi all
I have managed to get a new steering wheel with the squared off top and bottom, Alcantara sides and the metal paddle shifts.
MB want £112 plus vat to change it over.
I am happy with how to get the airbag out but once the battery has been reconnected would there be any radio code issues or anything else to worry about?
Should I just let Merc do it? Any one changed one before

In fact any Indie with STAR will be able to do that.
