Just had a local indie have a look at my CL and nearly fell over,
replace front axle abc valve block
Front axle valve unit
Replace abc oil line for small leak
New abc oil with flush through
Abc oil filter
Mineral oil
Reset via diagnostics
And replace poly V belt tensioner while he is at it as is recc at 37000mls

Can anybody give me an idea of the cost for this

John

Struts are a grand each on their own.

What actually is the problem with the car???

Sitting low on passenger front after a while turned off, raises up again and iss fine when pull off

Oh right, Depending on what pipe it is most of them have replaceable seals on them so really wouldnt need a complete new pipe unless its actually the joint of the rubber to metal connection.

Dependin on chassis number the valve block alone could set you back about £1400!!!!!!

Not sure if this is relevant any longer but I've been trawling through many forums on a potential purchase and noticed a lot of ABC issues...

One of the threads had an identical issue as yours and MB had apparently shown him an internal memo to suggest this was normal if the car with ABC had been sitting still for a few days - I just can't seem to find the thrad anymore for you as I've been through so many in the last 2 days or so...

A lot of others had replied saying it was rubbish and that the fluid was contaminated

Don't know how much this helps :)

Akash you are right there is a document on the star machine that says this.

I will have a look on my star machine and find the exact timeline mercedes state is acceptable for the vehicle to drop over
