About to order a 507 - colour help please!

Hello all

I'd really appreciate input here.

The 507 has a very limited range of colours (obsidian, white, tenorite, iridium, fire opal) so despite my deciding I wanted palladium, I can't bloody get it.

I know the 507 is a bit devisive as a concept, but all that to one side, I would like to be able to 'show off' the contrast high gloss black mirrors/spoiler, etc so am a bit worried about obsidian.

I am spec'ing the black forged alloys btw.

Is iridium boring?

Is obsidian with black too gangster?

I love red but it is too much for my daily car and would want something more subtle.

Any thoughts?

I have mocked all of them up on the Mercedes Germany website (UK one is useless) but I really want pics of actual cars.

I did the least helpful bit of market research and asked my girlfriend's 3 year old and the decision was emphatically RED!

What worries me is the possible negative impression when, for example, pulling up at a potential new client's house/office.

Or should I just grow a pair and go for it?!

Depends on your job, I suppose. If you're a funeral director, for instance, probably best to stick with Obsidian...

I definitely hear what you are saying - the contrast is important to me.

Slight rub though is that (I think) the car above is in the magno metallic paint which is nearly a £4k option

Oh god that looks lovely.

Without coming across all personal, my balls are definitely growing, helped by the thought of always parking round the corner.

Funnily enough, the c63 I test drove was a coupe in this colour!
