Ok just now I was parking my W204 C220cdi Sport in the drive and the back wheels slipped in the snow and I got stuck. I eventually got the car unstuck but now I have the ABS and ESP currently unavailable error message on the dash. The ABS light and the ESP warning triangle are both lit.

Any ideas what damage I have done? Is it safe to drive the car or should I leave it parked up?

Thanks for your help.

Probably snow in a sensor , i had this last year with mine , once it melted off it was fine.

Park the car up and leave it running and the warmth of the exhaust should melt it off.

Started car up this morning (left overnight) and the ABS and ESP lights/malfunction warning error message appeared on the dash.

Pulled car out of the drive, put the steering on full lock and ABS and ESP lights/malfunction warning error message disappears.

As mentioned by Howard, probably snow in a sensor?
