Thanks for replie Alx.Brought the car about 2 month ago went 90mins away to pick it up. When got there the abs and bas/esp lights were on. Bloke said that he had disc and pads replaced and said light was not on until it went in for work, was a friend and he could not find his lead to reset lights he said. Also had front link done and car was pulling.
I got the tracking done has it was way out, also speedo would stop and car would go into limp mode. Stopping and restarting it would solve it but gearbox was playing up.
I drained the gearbox oil and changed it and the filter which did not cure it. Put my code reader on and got couple of codes which were to do with speed sensor.
I was going to take them all off one at time and inspect clean them and the ring.
Took the n/s front one off first it looked little worn so replaced it. That solved the problem cleared the fault codes and no codes are present now and car and gearbox runs lovely apart from the fault lights not going out.
I never bothered looking at the other 3 speed sensors has car worked fine now. I might replace the other 3 one at a time see if that knocks lights out.
I dont no if there is anybody on here that has the smart software that could scan my car at the weekend, my local indie can only do it in the week and i work.
