ABS ECU issue

Hi all,
I have a 1998 W202 C250TD estate. I have an intermittent ABS issue and took it to an Indie last week who diagnosed it as ABS ecu fault.

Does the below look like an ABS ecu issue?

Faults:
C1306 (5306)
C1306 REAR RIGHT AXLE SOLENOID VALVE (HOLD)
(A7/3Y12): OPEN CIRCUIT/SHORT CIRCUIT

C1303 (5303)
C1303 FRONT RIGHT AXLE SOLENOID VALVE (RELEASE)
(A7/3Y9): OPEN CIRCUIT/SHORT CIRCUIT

If it is ABS ecu, can anyone tell me where it islocated so I can check the wriing to it.
I see lotss of ABS ecu's on ebay cheap, are they plug and play or do they need recoding or something?
