Hi folks
Have just picked up a nice '92 230CE with AMG bodykit. Nice condition, but a small list of faults for those "project" weekends. The worst of these appears to be that the ABS fault indicator lights up from time to time - more frequently in the wet, but once in a while in the dry. Car is always moving rapidly when the light comes on.
Is there any way to query the ABS ECU diagnostics to find out why it's lighting the lamp ?
Pending any other advice, I'll bleed the brakes, inspect the wheel sensors (clean them up if required), check the rings that the sensors depend on, check the earths in the engine bay etc.
