ABS EPs

Morning all, after some advise please,
I have a 06 ml 320 cdi sport, the other morning when it was wet and cold when she was 1st started the Yellow triangle and ABS light come on. After a short trip and after restart it was all clear.
Yesterday same again but this time the car actual ground to a halt and felt like the rear brakes where locking up then cleared speed up and locked up again so I turned round and limped home.
Any ideas ?!?

Sounds like you have a dirty/duff wheel sensor that is switching on ESP. Check all tyres are correctly inflated and correct size. You could try winding the steering lock to lock 6 times. Could also be the brake switch.
