Just tried out Adobe acrobat 7 with Firefox. Wont load hypertex linked pdfs from web pages!
Its much faster than Adobe 6 but has some annoying features like an exe file that runs from startup and another one which continues to run in memory unless you actively kill it after use.
The full download from the Adobe site is also "BLOATWARE" with lots of extras like a Yahoo toolbar program you dont need.
You can load a stripped down version from the Adobe ftp site. but once installed dont use the upgrade function when prompted since it then upgrades by downloading the "bloatware version" 
You have been warned! It also managed to screw up my IE settings also. I am back to using reader 6 with some tweaks to speed it up.
