Advice on CLK 220 cdi 2008

Hi all. Apologies in advance if I'm posting in the wrong forum. Currently driving a volvo c30 and looking to upgrade potentially to a CLK. I'm going viewing this at the weekend: Used 2008 MERCEDES-BENZ CLK-CLASS 220 CDI COUPE 220 A/T Diesel in Kildare

Seems a very fair price? Would appreciate any general advice regarding performance, value for money etc.

Looks nice, might be a little high price for the mileage/kilometer-age. - It doesnt have COMAND (Sat Nav) but it does have parking sensors.

Have you thought about a CLK270? alot more poke and still great on the mpg. I had over 55mpg from mine.

Cheers for the reply. I hadn't considered the 270 but they don't seem to be very common in Ireland. The way the exchange rate is it wouldn't make sense to look in the UK. But definitely something to consider!

Ensure the engine temperature reaches around 80-90C and when it does test the heater pumps out warm air.
I owned a 2.7 D which was very good but as my commute to work was only 9 miles each way found it only did around 28-32mpg and did not reach normal temperature in my 12 minute drive.
On the motorway it was great with 35-40mpg.
