Air Con light Flashes 3 Times

The red air con light on my C Class W204 flashes 3 times then turns off. No cold air comes out of the vents. I thought it must have run out of gas but when it was checked (at Halfords) the mechanic said there was definitely gas in the system.

Does anyone know if there is a particular reason why the light flashes 3 times then turns off?

It has a system fault. It needs to go on star. I am finding the common culprit for this on w204's and w212's is the pressure switch. They do not log a fault code but can be condemned checking the actual values screen

Pressure Switch? Do you know if this is an expensive job?

If it is the switch then no it's not. Around 35 pounds for the switch plus half hours labour. Bear in mind the gas needs reclaiming before hand

Dont suppose you know why my sat nav comand display screen flashes TEN times then goes blank??

Just the sat nav? Or do you mean the comand on any function?
