Airbag ECU / Control Unit Replacement 1999 ML320 W163

Hi all..hoping someone can help with the following issue I have with my 1999 ML320 W163...

SRS light is constantly on and got someone to read the fault codes which showed that the Airbag ECU is malfunctioning (as well as passenger seat sensor) and we couldn`t erase the fault. So concluded that it needs replacing...

I have managed to source a second hand ecu but wanted to ask you guys firstly:

1) where is the airbag ecu located
2) Is there is a DIY anywhere for how to remove the parts, trim and replace? Or can anyone help enlighten me?!!!

its located under the radio.its bolted 2 the floor make sure u disconnect the battery before u go at it some airbag ecu have a built in mercury switch if u turn it upside down the airbag while the ignition is on the airbags might go off ,if your not used 2 working on cars get a garage 2 do it for you it would only take an hour to do

The second hand unit may not work BTW.
