Hi, Got into car this morning turned on ignition and was met by warning on dash to Visit Workshop and picture of car with arrow pointing up!

Having found out problem related to Airmatic suspension, looked round car and found nearside rear wheel under the arch!

Used the raise car button beside gear selector lever but nothing happening although led operating next to button. Checked main 40A fuse underneath carpet of drivers footwell, ok.

Located pump behind arch of passenger side, wiring all looks intact with no evident signs of corrosion.

There are 2 plugs for the pump, I take it the main power is the 2 white cables which harness to a connector with red/brown cables?

Disconnected harness, started the car, pressed the raise car button to force pump on and with the harness disconnected I checked for power and none present, thought I should at least have 12 volts here??

Would the next step be the Relay and if so which one is it?

Thanks in advance!

Bill

Hi,can you hear the pump when you turn the ignitio on & press the 3 airmatic settings?(as a preventetive measure i regulary switch between all 3 settings & raise lower car just to keep the airmatic system moving & lubricated-had no issues so far after 14 months ownership)

For some reason it has sorted itself out!
I'm thinking there may be problem with rear sensor.

Will keep an eye on it and report back ;)

You still must have a leak. I would get it sorted or you'll end up forking out for a pump!

I've had a duff reading from a OSR sensor before - cleared on STAR and fine since.

Has not returned yet tw.

Theres a relay for the airmatic pump . Its in the engine bay fuse box , the relay is a green 4 pin relay , it will be towards the bck of the fuse box .
Check that this is working , I had a similar problem with my airmatic , turned out to be a loose conntecion where the pump connects .
I found that the the relay would engage when i started the car for a few mins then when the pump did not respond the relay would open and id get the airmatic fault message
