Alarm/Central Locking? Nice to fix if possible ...

Hello All,

An annoying development on my 300CE-24 (124.051) is this:

1. Normally, when I press the alarm remote control (Mercedes original alarm, fitted by MB in 1998), the doors and boot lock and the windows and sunshine roof close.

2. Suddenly, the automatic closing of the windows and roof no longer works. Doors and boot still lock.

3. Everything unlocks as normal.

I have no idea what might be causing this.

Anyone have any ideas?

it is likely the convenience relay under the back seat cushion. (opp side to central locking pump)

My central locking problems were traced to damp in the control box under the rear seat.
