Hi, i don't know if you read the problem i have with the S-Class Comand.

A long story, short. The hard drive has packed up and they are replacing the Comand unit. ( £5000 + vat )

I just wanted to know the procedure as i have trouble understanding the In's and outs of electronics.

Will they just change the hard drive or will the hole unit be changed ? Many thanks.

I suppose that would justify that amount of money Olly, it just sounds an amazing amount of money, even Steve at Brooklands nearly fell off his chair.

Reminiscent of when I asked Porsche Tonbridge (almost 12 years ago) for the cost to retrofit factory aircon to my (then nearly 5 years old) 968 - £9k! I declined!
